Our Mission
At the Harrisburg Improv Theatre we believe that improv isn’t just theatre or a sport, it’s an act of love. Improv is about support, listening and being vulnerable with someone to create something you both feel ownership over, and can be proud of.
When we play together in improv scenes we connect with each other and feel a real world example of that over and over again. Improv teaches us not only to chase that feeling of connection, but also how to accomplish that goal of being a person who can connect with others.
When you walk in our doors, what you’re going to see on our stage is the product of support, care and community. Whenever you’re at The HIT, we want you to feel that love is here.
